NAPPS calls on federal government for gradual reopening of schools

Owners of private schools across the country under the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, NAPPS, have called on the federal government to undertake a gradual reopening of schools across the country, starting with students in the final grades such as the primary 6, third class of lower secondary and third class of upper secondary.

However, school owners, who spoke yesterday through their national president, Chief Yomi Otubela, in Lagos, have suggested that states with low incidence of coronavirus epidemics or where case numbers are declining, should see their schools reopen first.
